TabTrade.com - The Honest Breakdown

TabTrade — What It Is

Tab Trade opened in March 2026. CFD broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, an New Zealand-regulated broker.

That last detail tells you something. It says the person running this knows how a proper broker operates. Does not guarantee anything. It is more reassuring than someone with no brokerage experience.

They launched with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same facilities institutional desks use. Most new brokers focuses on ads and sign-up promos. Tab Trade led with infrastructure. Unusual for a new broker.

Market coverage: forex, indices, gold, silver, commodities, equities, crypto, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For a broker this new, that range is solid.

The Software

You get: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Both MT5 and cTrader from the same login. Most brokers only give you one or the other. Having both matters. Use whichever you prefer.

MT5 is what most people know. Full charting, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you have traded on MT4 or MT5 before, there are no surprises.

cTrader is the more modern one. Cleaner order book. More responsive charts. Native automated trading. A lot of traders find it more natural after using both.

Direct FIX connectivity is there for bots but is only on the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView is apparently in the works. That will make the platform set once it is live.

What You Pay

Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Easy to track. No minimum deposit. Good for beginners.

Edge account. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the raw spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. So your all-in cost sometimes sits below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for a broker with $0 to start. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. Tab Trade does not.

VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, negotiated fees. Not something the average person. Skip it unless you run serious volume.

Execution Speed

This is the thing this broker actually does something different. Equinix LD4/LD5. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. These are proper execution targets. The average platform operate at a much wider range.

Does this affect you? If you scalp, it does. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you hold positions longer, it matters less. What matters is the setup is serious. That is they are not cutting corners on the tech.

Pair that execution speed with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the total package makes sense. Hardly anyone at this price point offer execution like this.

Safety

Now, the detail you need to be straight about. Tab Trade is licensed by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is tier-3. No CySEC. No investor compensation scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a dealbreaker, look elsewhere. Lots of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.

But. The founder came from BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is not cheap. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in tier-1 data centre access. This does not guarantee anything. It should be part of how you think about it.

The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether this deal makes sense depends on you.

Welcome Offer

TabTrade offers bonus funds of up to $2,000. Standard sign-up bonus. You deposit, they top up your balance. Standard terms apply: trading volume requirements before bonus funds can be taken out. Read the conditions before funding.
